On Friday, January 11, 2019 Roberto Magana Zamora peacefully passed away surrounded by his family. He was 74.

Roberto was born on May 7 1944 to his parents Maria del Refugio Zamora Rocha and Adolfo Magana Castillo. Roberto was a hardworking family man. He worked in the railroad track industry and agriculture. He loved to go on walks around town while listening to music. Being in the company of his family and friends is what he loved the most. He was a resident of Watsonville.

Roberto is survived by his children; Yolanda (Jose) Lopez, Roberto (Josefina), Gloria (Arturo) Montejano, Cristobal (Charlotte), Miguel (Lupe), Ana Maria (Santiago); 8 siblings; and 13 granchildren, Roberto Jr., Diana, Samantha, Jasmine, Vanessa, Alejandro, Yaritza, Melania, Yvannia, Giana, Alizae, Isabella and Arianna; and 1 great grandchild, Sebastian Rico. He is preceded in death by 4 siblings.

A Visitation Service will be held on Monday January 21, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel located at 609 Main St. in Watsonville from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 22, at 10:00 AM at Valley Catholic Church located at 2601 E Lake in Watsonville with the burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery located at 2445 E Lake in Watsonville.
