Ruben Venegas Perez

Ruben Venegas Perez passed away in his home on June 5, 2025 at 61 years of age.

He was born in Mexico City on March 12, 1964 to Maria de la Luz Perez and Ascencion Venegas. However, he has been a long-time local resident.

Ruben Venegas Perez was very protective of his family, especially his 7 grandchildren which he adored. He loved to dance and it seemed like music would move him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Guillermina Hernandez; and his three children Jennifer Venegas, Alvaro Venegas and Xochitl Venegas. He also leaves behind two siblings Ricardo Venegas and Griselda Venegas.

He was preceded by, his brother, Rogelio Venegas.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10 a.m.

The family will accompany Mr. Venegas to the crematory located at 127 Hecker Pass Road in Watsonville for a Final Blessing.
