On Friday, December 23, 2016 Salvador M. Luna peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in Salinas. He was 72.
Salvador was born on September 2, 1944 in Durango, Durango, Mexico.
Salvador was a long-time resident of Watsonville for over 50 years. He was a proud owner of Luna Appliances serving the Watsonville Community for over 30 joyful years and was a mentor to many in the appliance trade. Many friends and family will remember him as a man whose candid personality touched everyone.
Salvador was preceded in death by his parents; Juan Luna and Catalina Luna and siblings; Juana, Jorge and Jesus Luna.
He is survived by his children; Sandra, Salvador and Hector Luna and his siblings; Luis, Alejandro, Guillermo, Pedro, Matilde, Teresa and Lucina Luna. Salvador is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Aunt and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 5-9 with a celebration of life service at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Another service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with a burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
