Sam Castro

On January 15, 2021, Sam Castro peacefully passed away.  He was 37.

Sam was born on July 23, 1983 and was a resident of Watsonville.  Sam was an avid Raiders Fan and loved BBQing with his family and friends.  He loved spending time with his boys and playing video games.  Sam also enjoyed going to the beach and listening to music.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, Sam Castro.

Sam is survived by his significant other Delia Gomez, his two sons Sam Castro and Isaac Castro, and his mother Lisa Tanner and stepfather Mark Tanner.  He is also survived by his stepbrother Mark Tanner (Kayla); his grandparents John and Helen Perez of Watsonville, and Donna Blanco of Salinas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation service and Celebration to honor Sam’s life will take place on Wednesday, January 27th from 4:00-7:00pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville.
