Shirley Hurne

On Friday, November 9, 2018 Shirley Louise Hurne peacefully passed away at her residence in Merced. She was 69. Shirley loved teaching Japanese exchange students ad traveling the world. Some of her favorite destinations were Japan and Mexico City. Shirley will always be remembered and forever cherished in our hearts. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde McGinnis and Ellen McGinnis and son, Terry Hurne. She is survived by her children; Cheryl Hurne, Bryon Hurne, and Christina Stevens and her siblings; Clyda Dehn, Joanne Silva, Phillip McGinnis. Shirley is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and many other family members. Services were held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
