Socorro Ramirez Flores

Socorro Ramirez Flores passed away surrounded by her family on July 30, 2022, in Salinas, California. She was 83.

Socorro was born on March 15, 1939, to her parents, Bacilio Ramirez and Antonia Arellano in San Miguel, Michoacan, Mexico.

Socorro was a kind-hearted lady devoted to her family. She enjoyed crocheting and singing. She loved to cook delicious meals for her family and friends. Socorro was a resident of Salinas.

Socorro is survived by her children, Josefina Flores, Reynaldo Flores, Evangelina Flores, Arcelia Flores Lopez, Belem Flores Ramirez, Cuactemoc Flores and Oliverio Flores, her siblings, Baltazar Ramirez, Elena Gonzalez Ramirez and Maximino Ramirez, and 43 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Socorro is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Flores, and her siblings, Melchor Ramirez, Genoveva Ramirez and Antonio Ramirez.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 12, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Church at 1:00 PM with the burial to follow directly after at Valley Public Cemetery.
