Stella Borba

On December 19, 2019, Stella Borba peacefully passed away surrounded by family.

Stella was a native resident of Santa Cruz County.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, and her lady luncheons.  She also loved spending time with her family and her grandkids.  She was a leader in Brownies, Cub Scouts, and taught Catechism.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Borba Sr.; her parents, George and Iva Butler; her daughter Carolyn Borba; and 11 of her 13 siblings.

She is survived by her children Mike Borba, Tony Borba Jr., and Ivetta (Paul) Tantau-Borba; and her 5 grandchildren.  She is also survived by two of her 13 siblings; Dean Butler and Letha Bartel.
