Stella Treanor

February 11, 1927 — March 24, 2016

On Thursday, March 24, 2016 Stella Marie Treanor peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in Watsonville. She was 89.
Stella was born on February 11, 1927 in Avery Island, LA. Growing up in the Tabasco Sauce state she picked peppers until she met her Husband, Garth. They decided to move to California where she became a telephone operator for AT&T.
Stella was a woman of many wonderful traits. She taught Catechism at Moreland Notre Dame, was a Volunteer as a Pink Lady at Watsonville Community Hospital and a member of the Young Ladies Institute for many joyful years.
Ultimately, Stella's life was devoted to her family and their happiness. She cherished family gatherings, playing Yahtzee, cards and spending time with her grandchildren, who meant the absolute world to her. For many years Stella loved traveling in her motorhome with her family and friends. Some of her favorite camping destinations were Huntington Lake and Eagle Lake among many other places.
To a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend your memories will be forever missed and always cherished within our hearts.
Stella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garth Treanor.
She is survived by her children, Terri and Michael Treanor and her grandchildren; Amanda Dyck, Noah and Quinn Treanor.
