Teresa Ramirez-Piña

Teresa Ramirez-Piña passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026 at the age of 85. Born on December 1, 1940 to her parents Gregorio Piña and Maria Trejo in San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico and later became a resident in Watsonville, CA for many years with her husband, Domiciano Ramirez Arredondo.

She was a cherished mother whose warmth and love touched everyone around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, gathering with family, preparing home cooked meals, and working through crossword puzzles. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved attending church, spending time outdoors, and sharing music with her devoted husband. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her son Gregorio, granddaughter Teresa Zepeda, grandson Rudy Ramirez, and her siblings Candido and Virgina Piña.

She is survived by her loving husband Domiciano Ramirez Arredondo; her children David, Angel, Eva, Adolfo, Oralia, Lucila, Rosalia, Miguel and Martha along with her 39 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 5-9 PM with Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
