William Ayers

January 25, 1939 — November 3, 2014

Norm Ayers, a long-time resident of Corralitos, CA peacefully passed away on November 3, 2014 at the age of 75.

He was born on January 25, 1939 to his proud parents William "Floyd" and Georgie Ayers.

Throughout Norm's life he had accomplished many remarkable achievements and goals such as serving his country in the Navy. However, Norm was the most proud of his family and being a grandfather. He loved supporting and attending all his grandchildren's activities such as coaching Little League and AYSO Soccer.
For 31 enjoyable years, Norm worked with the California Department of Forestry. He also was an avid member and Usher for the Corralitos Community Church. Norm was a unique man who was well loved by all. But most importantly, Norm was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is now reunited with his parents, Floyd and Gerogie Ayers, his brother Donald and Raymond Ayers and his sister Gertrude Cureton.

Norm is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Kathy Ayers and children Jackie (Steve) Stanton, Norman (Sheila) Ayers, Willie (Glenda) Ayers and Polly (Aaron) Sirles. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Hazel Skoglund, Phillip Ayers and Carolann Sales and his grandchildren Jordan Ayers, Sarah Ayers, Mitchell Alvarez, Carly Stanton, Chris Stanton, Scott Clark, Tim Clark, Ryan Sirles, Tyler Kawata, Cole Kawata, Tanner Sirles and Brant Sirles.
