Alice Vasquez

May 25, 1937 — January 18, 2021

Our gorgeous smiling earth angel Alice Marie Vasquez has gained her angel wings and is now resting in the hands of our Heavenly Father.

Alice Marie Vasquez was born on May 25, 1937 to Faustino Moreno and Simone Yberra. At the age of 13 she met her beloved viejo Vincent “Peewee” Vasquez. Both young and in love embarked on the wonderful road to an enormously beautiful, blessed family. They had a total of 7 children. With an unexpected loss of their 2 children Vincent Vasquez and Ester Godinez this truly amplified Alice’s strength and her faith in our Lord and savior JESUS CHRIST. With her permanent contagious and warming smile she was always ready to talk about her day or hear about yours. Walking around the store with her your bound to meet up with at least two people that she knew and had to catch up with and give her blessings to. Her smile, presence and true GOD sent love immensely radiated through her.

Her passion for catering to her family was unbelievable. Cooking, cooking, and cooking was what her heart loved.

To do! Grandmas enchilada dinners will always be missed and thought of during special occasions! “Along with her birthday spankings.”

Along with those birthday enchiladas dancing was a huge piece of her heart! Dancing the night away trying to keep up with her crazy old man!

Alice had an open-door policy, so quick to serve everyone a plate of food (even if they weren’t hungry) and leftovers if they wanted some for later! She opened her home to all family and friends and didn’t think twice about it. It made her soul happy to help.

Her bright, jolly and caring love will be gravely missed by all her children and grandchildren nieces nephews and all loved ones. The comfort of going to her house to feel at home, too be catered to will be cherished and missed forever. Family Shopping Food and dancing were her passions! Oh and the San Francisco Giants and Niners! Alice was out of this world. She was made from a different cloth, one of a kind! Alice loved everyone.

There was one thing she didn’t care for was when the GIANTS LOST! “Oh boy, change the channel” she would say. And don’t forget about her 49ers! Watching the game or running around in the kitchen making sure all the chips and salsa were full or if everyone had enough to eat!

Alice was comforted and loved by her devoted family in her transition to meet our creator. Her soft persona, infectious soothing smile, her memory will forever live on in her seeds that she has planted in this world. She will forever fill our empty hearts with her beautiful warm smiles and memories locked away deep in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Vasquez, two children Vincent Vasquez and Esther Godinez, grandchildren Magdalena Godinez, John Vasquez Jr, Nathaniel Ezias Rocha, and Raymond “RayRay” Cervantes. She is preceded in death by her parents Faustino Moreno and Simona Yberra, as well as by her siblings; Angie, Mike, Faustino, Joe, Pauline, and Rudy.

Alice is survived by her children Teresa Vasquez (Tony), Phillip Vasquez, Caroline Cervantes(Andrew), Phyllis Vasquez and John Vasquez (Bea) . Not to mention her devoted granddaughter Melissa Godinez (Victor). She is also survived by her siblings Richard Moreno, Gloria Moreno, Rosie Galvan, Robert Maldonado, her 10 grandkids, 30 great grandchildren, and 12 great- great grandchildren.

We thank you for your prayers support and love during these times.
