Ana Maria Garcia

Ana Maria Garcia peacefully passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 74. Mrs. Garcia was born on July 24, 1946 in Mexico City; she was a Watsonville resident at the time of her passing.

Mrs. Garcia was a member of the YMCA for more than twenty years.  She was also a member of Our Lady of Assumption Church in Pajaro.  She will be remembered for her cheerful and friendly manner, and for her huge heart.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her beloved husband Efren Mendoza, along with her children Carmen, Marco Antonio, Julio Cesar, Sandra, Jose Luis, and Efren.   She is also survived by her sister Dora Garcia, her twenty grandchildren, and her 19 great-grandchildren.

A visitation service will be held on Sunday December 20, from 6pm-9pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St. in Watsonville. The funeral mass in honor of Mrs. Garcia will take place on Monday, December 21, at 10am at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Pajaro with the burial to directly follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
