Virgie Neighbors

November 13, 1941 — October 19, 2021

Virgie Lou Neighbors passed away peacefully on October 19th with her family by her side.

Born on Nov.13th, 1941 in Corcoran Ca. to Geneva and Omer Davis.

Virgie was married to Bill just short of 53 wonderful years. Bill passed away this last March after a courageous battle with cancer. Virgie and Bill lived in Watsonville the majority of those years raising their children, but moved to Hollister a few years ago to be closer to their family.

Virgie worked for Pajaro Valley Bakery for nearly 25 years, Kristich Monterey Pipe Co. and several bookkeeping jobs, as that was her profession. She spent her retirement with Bill volunteering and donating her time to countless organizations in the Watsonville Community, which gave her great satisfaction. Virgie was involved with the Rainbow Girls as a young woman then the Soroptimist Organization years later. Virgie was known for her sweet radiating smile, pure dedication to not only her family, but also her friends. Virgie loved spending her free time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. From a young age she instilled love, compassion, and a strong work ethic in her children and grandchildren and we will all be forever grateful for that. Our Mom, Mama, Grandma, Grammy, Virg, Virgie Lou and Virgie Bird’s love and legacy will forever live on with our family.

Virgie leaves behind her 3 daughters Linda Jennings, Laura Jennings Evans (Ben), Jenny Bachman (Rod).

Grandchildren - Jessica Raymundo, Teri Tremblay (Kyle), Michael Maisonneuve (Alli), Jason Basaldua (Rachel), Krista Rovella (AJ), and Jordan Bachman.
